Shipping Policy

We ship from our warehouse in the Netherlands to customers within the European Union and United Kingdom. 

Shipping Rates:

A flat shipping rate is charged at checkout depending on the shipping address you have provided. The rate is fixed and is disclosed before payment. 

Shipping rates are as follows:

Shipping rates may be higher for larger bulk orders and may be lower for smaller items which fit in the mailbox. Your shipping cost will appear in your order summary before you confirm payment.

Shipping Options:

We only offer one shipping option at the moment but we are working to include more options in the future. Local pick-up is currently not available. 

Order Processing:


Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. During peak periods, sales, or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Carriers

Lunchbox utilizes PostNL, DHL, Royal Mail, DPD and regional carriers for delivery of packages. The use of a carrier for a shipment is determined by the best rate, most reliable shipping time, location of the delivery address, and size of the package. The choice of carrier is based on best rate, speed, and reliability for the destination.


Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check your package status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within the estimated shipping times listed above from the date of your confirmation email, please contact us at eufam@itsmylunchbox.com with your name and order number. We will be more than happy to look into it for you.


Lost & Delayed Shipments

If your package has not received a tracking update for more than 7 days while in transit, or if it is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us at eufam@itsmylunchbox.com.

As required under EU consumer law, we are responsible for ensuring successful delivery to you. If your package is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer either a replacement at no additional cost or a full refund to your original payment method. 

You will not be required to file a claim with the shipping carrier. We’ll handle it for you.


Invalid Shipping Address or Delivery Barriers

If a package is returned to Lunchbox as undeliverable and the carrier has indicated an invalid address or barriers preventing their complete delivery (coded community gates, etc), the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees to have it resent. 

 


 

Returns and Exchanges

If you return one item or multiple items from an order under our 30-day return policy, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Return shipping is only covered by us in the case of defective, damaged, or incorrect items.

We offer a return label for your convenience. The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund amount. If you prefer, you may return the item using your own courier service at your own expense. We recommend notifying us in advance if you prefer to arrange your own return, so we can process your refund efficiently.

Return an item within 30 days of delivery; you are entitled to a full refund of the product price and the original shipping cost.

Please note: If you return only one item or part of your order, the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

A deduction may be made for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. This deduction is not applied by default and we will always inform you if there is a deduction to be made.

In the event of a manufacturer defect, defective products will be replaced (including cost of shipping) at no cost to the customer. Defective items will be inspected for improper use and non-manufacturer damage, and compared against historical quality assurance reports. If the defect was in fact not caused by the manufacturer, the item may be returned to the customer upon payment of all outstanding shipping expenses.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return shipment, to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please note: Customised or personalised items are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrect, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(c).


 


 

Returns from Outside the EU & UK

We currently accept returns only for orders placed by customers within the European Union and the United Kingdom.

If you are returning a product from outside the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, or the UK, please contact us at eufam@itsmylunchbox.com before sending your return. You will need to organise and cover the return shipping cost yourself, as we are unable to issue return labels for these locations.

Warranties


If a product issue is determined to be the result of a manufacturing or product defect, all warranty-related shipping costs will be covered by Lunchbox. 

2-Year Legal Guarantee

Lunchbox products are covered by a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in accordance with EU and UK consumer protection laws, effective from the date of delivery. This warranty includes either product repair or replacement with a product of equivalent value and function, at Lunchbox’s discretion.

If your item has a fault within 2 years of delivery, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the defect.

To qualify for a warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
