The effects of inflation and higher costs of living are real! We’ve all seen the costs for rent, food, and gas continuing to increase…and festival ticket prices are no exception. So for those that are ballin’ on a budget but still want to have a great time at a few fests this year, here are 7 budget friendly festivals happening in the US in 2024 that you should check out! 

Breakaway Festival

Multiple US Locations - April through October, 2024

Breakaway Festival expands its footprint in the US making stops throughout the US. This festival organizer continues to put together stacked lineups with artists including Flume, Alan Walker, NGTHMRE, GRiZ, Alison Wonderland, Porter Robinson, and Tchami in their 2023 editions. 2024 lineups are to be announced. What’s also awesome is that they bring the EDM experience to cities that don’t always get the love they deserve like Kansas City, St. Paul, Grand Rapids, and Charlotte. 2 Day Early Bird GA tickets are currently $99 + fees which is an unbelievable price! Project Glow

Washington DC - April 27 & 28, 2024

Insomniac’sProject Glow returns for its third edition, celebrating 25 years of East Coast Dance Music, in our nation’s capital! This year’s lineup is filled with A-List DJs and rising stars including Deorro B2B Valentino Khan, Blossom, Knock2, Lane8, and Rezz. 2 Day GA tickets will run you $196 including fees and this year’s fest will be held at the RFK Festival Grounds.

Ubbi Dubbi

Fort Worth, TX - May 25-26, 2024

If you’re located in Texas,Ubbi Dubbi returns for another year back in Fort Worth, but moving its dates to the end of May. This year’s lineup includes Bear Grillz B2B Jessica Audiffred, Dabin, RL Grime, Afrojack, Crankdat, Said the Sky, and Matroda. 2 Day GA tickets start at $173 (inclusive of fees).

Beyond Wonderland Chicago

Chicago, IL - June 1-2, 2024

After expandingBeyond Wonderland to the Gorge in Washington a few years ago, the Alice in Wonderland themed festival makes its way to Chicago! Although the lineup has not yet been announced, you can expect a top tier lineup as Insomniac will definitely want to make an impression for its expansion into the midwest. The fest will be held at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island and 2 Day GA tickets are $200 which include all fees. 

Lost In Dreams

Los Angeles, CA - July 12-13, 2024

If you’re a melodic bass lover,Lost in Dreams was created for you! After 2 years in Las Vegas, Insomniac’s feelsy fest makes its way to Los Angeles Historic Park. Although the 2024 lineup has not yet been announced, you can bet you’ll be crybanging in your best sadboi/sadgirl form as previous artists included ARMNHMR, Dabin, Gryffin, Slander, Jai Wolf, San Holo, Pauline Herr, and William Black. A 2 Day GA ticket in 2022 cost $150 (inclusive of fees), but time will tell if prices will be increased given the new city and venue.

DUSK Music Festival

Tucson, AZ - November 2024

DUSK Music Festival is a two day festival in Tuscon, Arizona that continues to bring in top tier musical artists, food, and art. DUSK began in 2016 and is held in the heart of downtown Tuscon. Last year’s lineup featured headliners such as Louis the Child, Deathpact, Troyboi, Seven Lions and other artists ranging from bass music to house music. A 2 Day GA pass is around $125 + fees and we anticipate the festival to return November 2024.
