Lost Lands isn't just a music festival that you listen to filthy bass at, it's Dubstep Disneyland! Excision's prehistoric bass playground returns to Legend Valley for its ninth year, September 18–20, 2026, and while the Prehistoric, Wompy Woods, and Crater stages will absolutely melt your face off with jaw dropping production and beats, some of the best Lost Lands memories happen when you wander away from the rail. Consider this your side quest checklist for the weekend.
1. Refuel Like Royalty at Chomp Steakhouse
Yes, there is a REAL steakhouse inside a dubstep festival, and yes, it slaps. Chomp debuted last year in 2025 as a pop-up fine-dining restaurant overlooking the Wompy Woods stage, and it's back for 2026 — this time with a reservation system so you're not stuck guessing when a table opens up.
Last year's menu set the bar high: A5 Wagyu, dry-aged ribeye, filet mignon, grilled herb salmon, and a seafood tower stacked with king crab, jumbo shrimp, and oysters, plus add-ons like tableside caviar and shaved truffle for anyone trying to flex between sets. There's a vegetarian tasting platter and tiramisu for dessert, too. Expect the same elevated, walk-up energy in 2026 with a smoother line — it's the kind of "wait, we're still at a festival, right?" moment that makes for a perfect Day 2 reset before you go back in for the night sets. 2. Find the Lost Lands Quest
In previous years, there has been a side quest nestled in the woods between the Subsidia and Forest Stages. One year, winners were gifted a sticker, another year, a pin. Last year, there was even a secret stage hidden in the trees with unannounced sets!

3. Get Lost in the Village Marketplace
If you need a break from the crowd or have time before or after the festival, Village Marketplace is the festival's chill hub. It's built for browsing: eat, drink, shop the vendor rows, or duck into the Silent Disco and 360 Dome for a completely different sensory experience than whatever's happening on the main stages.
The Discovery Center runs community-led workshops all weekend through the festival's Oracle Program — think yoga, flow arts, dance instruction, primitive skills and crafting, and the occasional comedy set, all hosted by fellow attendees rather than paid talent.
4. Track Down Every Dinosaur on the Grounds
Lost Lands leans hard into its prehistoric theme — we're talking animatronic dinosaurs, towering installations up to 50 feet tall, and roaming performers in full costume scattered across the venue and campgrounds. There's no single official checklist to work through, but the unofficial move every year is treating the whole property like a scavenger hunt: pull up the map in the Lost Lands app, note the vendor and landmark markers, and make it your mission to find every dino and take a pic with them before the weekend's over!
5. Find & Receive a Golden Shower
To the left of the main stage is a dinosaur unlike any other. It sprays visitors with water...aka "a Golden Shower." Make sure you pay it a visit - especially on a hot day!
