How to Clean Your Lunchbox Hydration Pack Bladder
December 20, 2022
Have you ever put some EmergenC, Liquid IV, etc. in your Lunchbox Hydration Pack Bladder and now it’s a little discolored? Forgot to completely drain out your bladder from EDCLV and now it smells like the attic of your grandma’s house?
The best way to care for your reservoir is to clean and dry it after every use, especially if you fill the reservoir with anything other than water. Here are two easy ways to get your bladder ready for your next event.
BOTTLE BRIGHT
- Purchase Bottle Bright Cleaning Kit.
- Mix 1 Bottle Bright Cleaning Tab with hot (not boiling) water in your bladder reservoir letting the tab dissolve completely.
- Hold the bladder above your head and open or pinch the bite valve to move the solution into the hose. Then close the valve.
- Shake the bladder to agitate the solution
- Allow the solution to sit for 15-20 minutes
- Drain the bladder and hose completely
- Remove the bite valve by pulling it from the hose
- Use the Cleaning Kit brush to scrub the hose and the inside of the bladder.
- Refill the bladder with fresh clean water and rinse two times.
- Dry the bladder open, upside down, with paper towels and the bite valve open.
SOAP & WATER
